The people who scope your project are the people who write the code.

Sofluent Technologies designs, builds, and ships mobile and web products for founders and teams who need working software — not a deck about one.

Book a scoping call

Thirty minutes on what you are trying to ship and when. No obligation, no slide deck.

  • A written summary of the problem as we understood it
  • An honest read on whether we are the right fit
  • A referral elsewhere if we are not

We reply to every enquiry within two business days.

ModelSenior engineers only. No handoff to a junior bench after the sales call.
ScopeFixed-fee discovery before any build estimate is quoted.
CadenceWorking software in your hands every two weeks.

Services

Find the engineering that fits your business need

Four kinds of work. If your problem doesn't fit one of them, say so in the first email — we would rather refer you out than stretch.

Mobile

iOS and Android from one Flutter codebase, taken from empty repo through both store review queues.

  • Store submission, review responses, release pipelines
  • In-app purchases, subscriptions, paywalls
  • Offline-first data, notifications, deep links
Discuss a mobile build

Web

Applications and marketing sites that stay fast on a mid-range phone and still make sense at 4am when something breaks.

  • Product dashboards, portals, internal tools
  • Static and server-rendered sites with page-speed budgets
  • Payments, auth, third-party integrations
Discuss a web build

AI features

Language-model features built with evaluation and cost tracking from the first commit, not bolted on after the demo.

  • Retrieval over your own documents and data
  • Prompt and output evaluation harnesses
  • Token cost, latency, and failure-mode budgets
Discuss an AI feature

Rescue

An honest read on an inherited codebase — what you have, what it costs to keep, what should be rewritten — before anyone commits to a rebuild.

  • Codebase and architecture assessment
  • Release unblocking and store-rejection fixes
  • Tests and CI on projects that shipped without either

How we work

Five stages, in order — and you can stop after any one of them

Every engagement runs the same way, so you always know what the next commitment is before you make it.

01

Scoping call

Thirty minutes on what you are trying to ship and when. You leave with a written summary of the problem as we understood it, whether or not you hire us.

30 minutes · free
02

Discovery sprint

We map the build: user flows, data model, integrations, risks, and the parts we do not yet know enough about. Ends in a written scope and a fixed price for the build.

1–2 weeks · fixed fee
03

Build

Two-week increments against the agreed scope. You get a running build and a written change log at the end of each one, plus direct access to the engineers writing it.

Milestone billing
04

Launch and handover

Store submission or production deploy, then the repository, infrastructure, accounts, and documentation transfer to you. Nothing stays behind a login only we hold.

Included
05

Support, if you want it

A monthly retainer for maintenance, store policy changes, and the next set of features. Optional, cancellable, and never a condition of handover.

Monthly · optional

Engagements

Three ways to work with us

Each one is a complete deliverable on its own. None of them requires the next.

Discovery sprint

Find out what it really takes

For teams with an idea, a deadline, and no reliable estimate. Ends with a scope document and a fixed build price you can take to anyone.

1–2 weeks · fixed fee

Project build

Ship the thing

A defined product built to an agreed scope, billed against milestones, delivered into your accounts and your repository.

Milestone billing

Retainer

Keep it healthy

A recurring block of engineering time for maintenance, platform changes, and the steady stream of small features after launch.

Monthly · cancel anytime

How we hold ourselves to it

Three commitments we will put in the contract

Two engineers working at adjacent desks, dashboards open on their screens

Claims get checked

Anything we put in front of your users — a number, a date, a legal reference — is computed from real data or cited to a real source. If neither is possible, it does not ship.

You keep the keys

Repositories, cloud accounts, developer accounts, and domains are yours from day one, registered in your name — not ours.

No lock-in by omission

Documentation and deployment steps are part of the deliverable, not a follow-up quote. You can hand the project to another team without calling us.

Stack

What we work in

We are deliberately narrow. These are the tools we have shipped production software in — and we will tell you when your project would be better served by something outside this list.

Do you work with clients outside Canada?

Yes. We are incorporated in Canada and work remotely with clients worldwide. Contracts and invoicing are handled by Sofluent Technologies Inc.

Can you take over a project someone else started?

That is what the rescue engagement is for. We start with an assessment of the existing codebase and give you a written read on what to keep, what to replace, and what it will cost — before any rebuild is proposed.

Who owns the code?

You do, from the first commit. The repository, cloud accounts, and store developer accounts are registered in your name and stay with you at handover.

How do you price a build?

The discovery sprint is a fixed fee. It ends in a written scope and a fixed price for the build, billed against milestones. We do not quote a build price before discovery, because that number would be a guess.
